Eley Law Firm Founder Honored for Outstanding Achievement
Prominent Workers’ Compensation Attorney Clifford Eley Receives Lance Butler Award
(Denver, Colorado) August 30 – Denver workers’ compensation attorney Clifford Eley received the prestigious Lance Butler Award at the annual dinner held by the Colorado Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section.
“I’m deeply appreciative of the CBA’s recognition of my work,” Eley said. “I will continue to be dedicated to serving my clients and helping them get the compensation that is so crucial to their well-being.”
The Butler Award for Outstanding Achievement was presented by Clifford Eley’s brother, Administrative Law Judge Craig Eley. Speakers at the June dinner included Larry Blackman, Tom Kana and John Sbarbaro.
Clifford Eley has been representing injured Colorado workers for more than 30 years. He is a founding member of the Workers’ Compensation Education Association and is past chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar.
Attorney Eley also serves on the 2010-2011 Colorado Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Council.
“My life’s work is about helping people injured on the job,” he said. “I’m proud to say I’ve always represented injured employees and never represented an insurance company in any case.”
In 1980, Eley graduated with honors from Brigham Young University, where he was a member of the Law Review. He graduated from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at BYU in 1983.
